How it all started...
Honea Path First was founded on May 7, 1869. In the 152-year legacy of HPFBC the congregation endured Reconstruction, the Great Depression, two World Wars and in recent days 911 and the COVID 19 pandemic. Through it all Good has been faithful. This local congregation through the decades faithfully sought to fulfill the Great Commission commanded by our Lord in
Matthew 28:19-20. In the present day we are dedicated to the mission of reaching the nations both locally and around the world with the gospel and making disciples of all peoples. People are our mission. Love is our method. Jesus is our message.
